I watched that one. I would have folded there. 100%.
That was a hell of a call and a sick bluff in the main.

Dude just decided before the hand he was going to bluff all in. There's no other reason to do it against that stack size

No way I’d fold there. I mean I guess it’s easy to say with the cards exposed, but if he has AJ or Aces full, you just have to accept it was a cooler. 5s full of jacks is just way too strong to fold in that spot.
Missed diamond draw is definitely in play, I’d imagine you don’t put him on absolutely nothing. He could have played KQ or K10 of diamonds that way.
It would be an odd way to play a monster. If he had AJ, you’d think he’d bet for value on the end rather than shove. No way in his mind did the guy with 5s have such a strong hand, he was trying to push him off a mid strength hand.

That Kottler guy almost got his bluff through. That was a great bluff though. He 3 bet pre flop so Chen had to think he had at least an Ace in his hand and when the Jack hit on the River he’s thinking oh crap he’s got Pocket Aces or AJ and his full house is better than mine.
I’m definetely folding there. I don’t have the nuts and they are deep in the Main I’m folding.
Cash game I’m calling every time

Right, that's the difference.
It's for your life in the main and it was almost all of his chips as well. I'm just going to have to find a better spot.

has anybody here ever staked anyone in the main event and if so, how did that go for you?
I helped pay for a guy to go last year that I knew really well. He gave me the exact percentage of himself plus added an extra $100 per 5% to help cover expenses. He ended up cashing 15k. Nothing great but I made a little bit.
I’ve always wanted to run or play in a $500 tournament with like 25 people where it sent the winner to play in it. But also, the people that played in that tournament, would own a small percent of the guy going. The extra $2500 payout would go towards travel costs for the player.

106 now.
kasaouf terrorizing the feature table as usual.
I think he made a pretty big mistake with 99 just now. I think given the stack sizes and being OOP, he should have folded to the 4b pre. Reason being, exactly what happened and how the hand played out post.
Just fold and walk away and lose 700k and not 3 million or so.

Grinder 3rd in chips
Afriat in 2nd

Yeah, what a series for him. If he can make the FT that's probably the most impressive WSOP ever.
Sick coolers with 20 minutes left too. AA vs QQ vs JJ

I cannot stand that guy. I have to fast-forward through any hand he is in. If he makes the Final I will not watch it.

The guy who had QQ in this hand had AA about 15 minutes before against another player who had QQ. He had a nice double up, and had some hope. Then he ran into this cooler. Cruel game.

He brings it on himself. Hopefully he'll grow up one day. I get it, I talk some trash on apps too while playing.
When you're a dick to everyone constantly and everyone knows you're doing it completely on purpose, you get zero benefit of the doubt and harsh rulings. He's a fricking nightmare to deal with

I've never liked that guy from the first time I saw him play in a WSOP event. He was obnoxious then and I see it hasn't changed-----except for maybe being worse now.
I can see him getting his arse handed to him in a parking lot one of these days after he pisses off the wrong person-----------and I'd buy that guy a drink or six for doing so.
