players can't wear hoodies/shades/headphones/masks? It's not as bad as it used to be, but if you are a professional poker player and have to put on a costume to hide behind, you suck at your job.

Won’t be fun until they’re allowed to fight.

chowds, curious how your planning goes with the WSOP

Do you just take 2-3 weeks off for July in case there's a deep run in one of these tourneys?

A college class mate of mine played and suffered a brutal beat yesterday.

He held K-K v 9-9. Flop is K-A-9. Pushes all in, turn is 7 and river is the case 9. Full house loses to quads.

If by awhile you mean forever, I agree.

If I ponied up 10K and lost like that, I’d be looking for a bridge to jump off.

I quit working in 2003 to pursue poker. Never returned to working for the man. I have a wife and two small children now, so I don’t play as much as I used to. In the old days, I would come out to Vegas for 30 or 40 days during the wsop.

I had an old college teammate go and play poker professionally for a bit. He wore the "Birds arent real" shirt. Did pretty well for a little bit.

Never forget a house game I used to play. 8 of us only bought in $40. More about just having fun. First hand was AK10 on flop. I hold pocket AA, another guy had pocket KK’s, and button has pocket 10’s. You can’t make this up. They go all in eventually so I have to. Tried to slow play a little. Turn comes and it’s you guessed it a 10. Knocked out after the first hand. WTF. No rebuys

I would have "motherfricked" and "son of a bitched" until they had me escorted out...then continued for a while in the parking lot
