What sites are everybody playing on these day? I’m out of the loop since Black Friday

If you have access to low limit cash games ($1/2, $2/5) that is absolutely what you should be playing. Lots of people have transitioned to live and it is infinitely easier than playing online.

If online is your only option then your choices our BetOnline and Global Poker.

Betonline tournies are def beatable but you almost have to play with a HUD. Only choice tho if you want to play deep stacks.

Global is fairly soft but the tournies are all short stacked (relatively). They do not allow HUDs. Cash games are beatable but, keep in mind, 10cent/25cent is probably equivocal to $1/$2 live in difficulty.

200NL and 500NL live cash games are always your best bet. Live tournies are still pretty good also but they are tournaments.

ETA: Your other 2 choices are Americas Cardroom and Ignition.

ACR will be the toughest and I think Betonline is superior. ACR will have more traffic and bigger guarantees but also way more pros and they have a sketchy history.

Ignition is anonymous players which I'm not a fan of. They do have a lot of traffic tho. They are formerly Bovada. Lots of mtt selection.

Id recommend getting set up for bitcoin unless you're playing on Global.

Unfortunately its the state of modern poker. Mtts on Betonline and Global are your best bet online. While they are obviously not immune to bots, they are mostly found in cash games and sng's.

Betonline is at least openly acknowledging the issue. Global doesnt even give you hand histories.

Just saw someone with tatted arms with a white shirt and black hat sit at a feature table B on Poker Go. Is that him? Last name Guay?

Gotcha. EX NFL player Richard Seymour is currently 35th with 2.7 mil in chips. Crazy.

I’ve read people have trouble cashing out on Global now that they don’t do PayPal.

I think Daniel Jones is a qb for the Giants, not a poker player from Lafayette.

Global pays out. Ive cashed since they stopped using Paypal. Granted, the site's overall quality has declined since they stopped using Paypal.

There isn't an online site that US players "can" play on that has stiffed anyone. It is just a matter of how long the payout takes and what methods are available.

Over the past few years, there has been a rash of suspected bitcoin thefts on Ignition. I don't endorse Ignition but that can easily be prevented being smart with your password and making sure your computer/laptop is clean. A 2fa key, like the yubikey, would do the trick. (I highly recommend these even if you don't play online poker).
