IMO, the only way to make that fair is to make the call $17.2, not $22.2. The player is considering tons of things when he asks for a count from a WSOP dealer. I think he has the right to expect that count to be accurate.

Was this amount essentially from that one hand yesterday?

That and the blinds. I thought it was all on blinds and don't even remember him playing a hand.

While I agree in principal, you would still have to catch it before the hole cards are flipped over.

Livingston is a bitch. He folded pocket queens on a preflop reraise from Gates who had pocket 10s
You sound clueless as frick. Feel free to enlighten me with a brief hand analysis and/or explain what and why you would have done in the exact same spot.

I'm pushing with queens in that scenario damn near every time. He played that hand like a bitch. That's my analysis.

If you know by folding you will make nearly another million dollars instead of risk going all in when Gates range is AA KK QQ JJ 1010 and AK then I think folding isn’t a crazy decision. He’s virtually 50% verses that range of hands so why take the chance when you can fold your way to another million dollars?

Agreed. He doesn't even have to "fold" his way to 4th place (at the time there were 6 left). He only has to believe that his chip equity and skill edge are more likely to get to 4th than flipping vs GG's range.
Should be noted: he busted in 13th in 2013 with QQ.

He played a little tight in that spot but he had to know that someone was holding A-A or KK in that spot and he just didnt want to risk it against those 2 hands. But little did he know that he was a huge favorite in that spot. Played a little tight but no problem with him folding in that spot either

I hope Maahs is the first one out tonite. His consistently asking a for a chip count when hes holding J-3 off is getting old.

Yeah what a douche that guy is, sad because he’s a regular guy Chicagoan and should be easy to root for, but no

Do guys like Hellmuth and Negreanu even play in main events anymore?

I find the guy really annoying. He takes five minutes to fold a 7-2 hand. I know he's going to fold, he knows he's going to fold, everyone knows he's going to fold and he still takes 5 minutes.
I was hoping he would go out last night. And I hate to pull against players from the US.
