Is it law u have to raise to 2.5 mil? Why not mix it up, come in at the minimum, raise to 4 mil, check raise, etc

Yeah, I didn't understand that one. BUT, they don't know what the other guys have like we do. If it was just one guy he may have stayed in but with both guys not only calling but raising at the final table it probably caught him off-guard. I still think he should have stayed with a pair of queens.
I think Sammartino is trying to make money right now by not playing. Every player that is eliminated is BIG bucks for him while he just relaxes and naps. And he is the guy I am pulling for. Maybe when a certain amount is reached he will go for broke like he threatened when they got to six last night.
Gates eliminated Milos Skrbic.
Ensan eliminated Timothy Su and Nick Marchington.
Kevin Maahs eliminated Zhen Cai.
Sammartino just watched everyone else play. Not that it a bad strategy. He has gone from winning at least $1,000,000 to at least $2,200,000 by surviving other's eliminations.
