I sat along first base line and also did the rooftops. Try both. The rooftops was a cool experience.

Yes, your kids can’t get a traumatic experience if they aren’t there.

The bleacher fans are absolutely into the game, more than any other area of the stadium.

LOL. Been many times to Wrigley and have sat in the bleachers and throughout the stadium. Been following the Cubs since Jack Brickhouse and Lou Boudreau and Milo Hamilton did games and David King Kong Ding Dong Kingman.

There was a time when yeah the Bleachers were full of die hard Cubs fans where you would see the same fans there game after game getting into the game. That ended when Harry Carey pretended to drink beer during games.

Rooftops could be a good option since food and drink are included, which could be a big savings for a family.

It wasn't very crowded, but that could've been more due to the fact it was colder than certain parts of a witch's anatomy that night in late April! As Murphy's sign read, "Cubs vs Mets in Bears vs Jets weather"

With the new scoreboards the views from the rooftops are terrible. And the kid likely isn't gonna eat enough food or drink enough beer to justify what you'll pay.

There's always lots of kids in the bleachers. Game i was just at a few weeks ago had a family right in front of us, I think both kids ended up with a ball.

Can you get to the rest of the stadium from the bleachers? It’s been awhile since I’ve sat in the bleachers, but I don’t think you can right? Maybe I’m just an idiot. But wrigley isn’t like other newer stadiums where you can have a nice walk around the entire field.

Even if you can OP I’d sit along the 3rd or 1st base line in any other good seat for baseball. Wrigley can get chilly in the evenings with a breeze off the lake, I’d strongly suggest a jacket or long sleeves for the wife and kid.

No.

Also, no beer or food vendors walk those sections.

Shout out to everyone for the spot on advice. Got 3 seats direct on cubs website sec 214 on aisle just in front of columns.

Great spot that would be terrible if you didn’t know about those columns and bought what looked like a deal then got stuck behind one.

Awesome venue, rode the train up from hotel, kid had a blast, the weather was perfect and great game even though they lost.

Would highly recommend a trip to those who haven’t been.

Actually you can, there will be a sign pointing you to a bathroom downstairs and you can access the rest of the stadium from there.

Huge series for them so definitely hurts to drop the opener, especially when that Morel blast was a few feet from tying it in the 8th.

If you explore all of Chicago, you’ll find a great city.
