And SL and ST won’t make a jump back to 5A for a while. Both schools numbers are steadily decreasing. I like the 4A bayou district it will be the only way my Tarpons ever think about competing for a district title in football.

I enjoyed some of my time there, but I get depressed just driving that place now.

Yep, but if oil & gas ever picks back up you guys will get an influx of new folks. Ellender, SL, Assumption, ST are all close enough numbers wise that 1 larger than average class could push them to 5A.

I'm happy in the 5a district with Hville & Destrehan, just wish ESJ was gone. The tougher district has caused CL to pick it up in every sport, maybe one day football will take the next step from just competing to winning again.

None of these games matter. Everyone else is just going for runner up in state since Zachary is wrecking everyone.

I mean he’s not wrong they have a shite ton of athletes in that school. I remember playing them in football when I was in high school and they were super athletic

So it's racist to think a school that has produced more talent than 98% of the schools in the state should be better than a 5-5 or worse team.
