Harvard doesn't offer athletic scholarships so you'd have the same chance to go there whether or not you're an athlete.
Eta: Well I'm sure it's a lot easier to get accepted if they want you to play football.

Stanford instead of Harvard. You get a real college experience with a big time sports program in California and a top 10 education. best of both worlds

Not really, but that opportunity is there. I know a guy who played there and graduated a decade ago; he is definitely not set for life. I know another guy who played at Princeton, same story.

World's Top Universities for producing millionaires
1. Harvard
2. Harvard Business School
3. Stanford
4. Cal Bears
5. Columbia
6. Oxford
7. MIT
8. NYU
9. Cambridge
10. UPenn
Harvard is so connected...it would be really difficult to turn them down...I'd have to take them over Stanford and Cal.
(Pac-12 is Ivy league and awesome at sports - suck it!)

Harvard seems logical but, can I choose Vandy?

SEC. I'd want to compete against the best. Be on TV every weekend. As a big time LSU player even if the nfl doesn't work out you can still land a 6 figure job in sales and live a great life.

Best friend was an athlete there. He's more than set and I'm sure used his diploma from there and connections he made to be in the great position he is in today. Obviously it's not 100 percent, but it's near the top of success rate I imagine.

The only correct answer is Stanford.
And the correlate for bball players is Duke.

Are you kidding? I would take the degree at Harvard in a heartbeat. If you have that opportunity, frick sports.
Stupid question.

I agree with you.
Harvard is Harvard.
It's almost like saying..."I'm a Carnegie or Kennedy! Give me money and job!"
Stanford is new money and puts on a good face...but it's really not the same. Stanford is sort of full of themselves too...if you get in, you can't fail. They rig the stats.
