What's in it for ULL to schedule McNeese? If they win people will say you beat a 1aa team. If they lose ridicule.
Good game this year, if they played.
as a LSU grad, I hope McNeese rolls in the FCS playoffs and ULL beats Tulane in the New Orleans bowl.

It is a little peculiar that ULL will play Nicholls twice, Lamar, and Southern since getting beat by McNeese.
McNeese brought the 2nd largest crowd to ULL in 2007.
What is there to lose? McNeese will show.
....there were "supposedly" an agreement between the two to play again, and it was ULL that backed out. Of course, I have no link because they're not going to publish hearsay.

Why does LSU schedule Furman? Because they're scared of Western Kentucky?
We've scheduled and beaten Western Kentucky in recent years. I'm not sure what your point is here.

I've had family play for both schools and it was great experience on all counts. Same thing from the fan's perspective. Some of the best parties in college were with our fraternity brothers from McNeese.
Just happy that both schools now have huge benefits for their teams. You can either play for a national championship or you can have a ton of national TV exposure. Since every college player seems to think they're NFL bound, I'm guessing the TV exposure would be a big selling point for recruits.

Personally, I think calling yourselves "Louisiana State University Tigers" is pretty dumb. At the very least because there is a very narrowly defined area of the state that are actually tigers.

Why talk shite about McNeese football when your school can't even beat them?
The game wasn't even close. UL-L got skull fricked by little old McNeese.
If UL-L would destroy McNeese why is it the athletic dept is scared to reschedule a game against them?
Instead they scheduled a team like Southern.

Poor attempt at deflecting my question.
I'm just curious as to why a person who's never attended an institute of higher learning hates one so much.

Maybe McNeese is trying to get a return trip or more money than Nicholls.

This. However, they should have scheduled us a few years while they were on the up, and we were on the down. They are about to plateau and we are back on the up again, it would seem.
If we're talking strictly football, I'd rather be McNeese. Our facilities are pretty on par with ULL. I can assure you, we don't have a couple of double sided serving as our recruiting center. Plus, they're about to ask the student body for more money, when they've been doing pretty fine as is, so that's the say the situation at McNeese will be getting considerably better. So for those reasons: McNeese>>>ULL

You know damn well you wouldn't have a shot against us this year. Dont try to play Mr Rational on the rant and then play naive on here.

how can you tell? It was packed just like this for the McNeese game. I was sitting in the section on the press box north side and I remember a ton of blue there.

I'm sure the ULL cause is grateful to have such an intellectual as yourself fighting its battles on the internet.

I asked this last week, but never got an answer, "What happened to the Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns?" The apostrophe and "s" are gone now.

No it's definitely the Southern game.
