I don’t hate the man, but it feels like he’s ruined the SEC with the incredible success he’s had.

Will the SEC and college football as a whole be better off when he retires?

Why do we have this thread weekly?

LSU fans, Auburn and Ole Miss have managed to knock off Bama in recent years. It’s not impossible.

So basically you want everyone to receive participation trophies? Iron sharpens iron. Bama’s success just makes other programs strive to do better. Not sure how he made the SEC worse when he’s not even in the SECCG this year.

it's not like they aren't trying. have you seen the number of coaching vacancies? and the ones being hired are making record salaries.

Punishing someone for being successful just has a wrong kind of ring to it.

Saban has made the SEC better much like skip Bertman did for baseball. He built LSU and bama. And auburn, Florida, etc have fought to keep up. He raised the bar and is the direct cause for all the firings in the conference in the last couple years. when the sec winds up with jimbo, gundy, kiffin, Mullin, Gus,smart, etc it'll be like the golden age again with so many great coaches-Richt , Miles, urban, petrino, spurrier, etc.
saban is common denominator.

The point went over your head. Heck, I even put the only in quotes.
Point being other teams are winning too.

Now witgin the sec, thats a different story. He's broken a lot of programs/coaches, just look at all the coaches changes there the past few years

it's not Nick's fault the other SEC teams keep making dumb coaching hires/fires.

SEC coaching is pretty much trash outside of Nick, Mullen, and Gus.

This I can agree with...Nobody wants the stress involved with trying to beat Nick every year
