Would Pat Fitzgerald ever leave NW?

I really like him as a coach. Would he ever jump from his Alma mater to a bigger program?

Never say never. Thought Peterson would never leave Boise after he turned down so many jobs but alas he found the situation he wanted and jumped

lives in a great city, no pressure, nice salary, coaches his alma mater. wouldn't be shocking to see him never leave

I think the right offer could have lured him away a few years ago. He was getting a lot of resistance from the school about facility upgrades, so there were local reports that he was getting frustrated.

That said, not only is he a Northwestern legend, he grew up in the South suburbs, so he's a Chicago lifer. Now that the school finally opened the long-awaited athletic center on the lakefront, I doubt he'll ever want to leave.
