I knew we were in for trouble when early in the week John Brady admitted to cancelling a practice because the team was trying to handle all of the media request. LSU totally got caught up in the hype.

Never heard that. Pretty bad.

This.

That LSU-UCLA game was about as ugly as the "Badger Ball" Sweet 16 game against Wisconsin during the Stromile Swift era.

Lots of his teams seem to lay eggs during important games.

"One key tonight, and we didn't see this as well on tape, was their phsyicalness," Brady said.

Wow...that's what those UCLA teams were built on.

Butler was historically bad against UCONN and should have won that game if they even played mediocre.

That was hands down the worst championship game ever played in college basketball

Maryland-Indiana was pretty bad. I was sober and still slept through half of it.

ETA:

Butler led at halftime 22–19, but suffered in the second half from poor shooting, making only 6 of 37 shots in the second half.

Not as bad as LSU vs. Indiana in 81.

I thought Alabama was pretty terrible in its last Final Four appearance. I forgot who they were playing but it was brutal.

Not the Final Four, but UConn getting beat by George Mason as the overall #1 seed in the Elite 8 was awful. They had 4 1st round picks and were just terrible the entire tournament starting with barely beating Albany

Connecticut 72, Albany 59
Connecticut 87, Kentucky 83
Connecticut 98, Washington 92
George Mason 86, Connecticut 84

That team was pretty stacked although Rudy Gay was the only one who did jack shite in the NBA. If I recall correctly, they had to sneak by Washington on a buzzer beater to send it to OT

Yeah, Gay was the only one that did anything in the NBA, but Hilton Armstrong, Josh Boone, and Marcus Williams were all very good college players and 1st round picks. Denham Brown was a 2nd round pick as well. That is 5 draft picks, and they barely snuck by in each game.

Didnt West Virginia flop in Final Four? I cant remember if that was the game where the guy blew his knee out and Huggins looked like a caring SOB.

That was 2010. DeSean Butler blew out his knee. They were losing to Duke and ended up losing by 15-20 but it wasn't necessarily that big of a flop, although they were just coming off a win against Kentucky

LSU only lost by 14. I seem to remember ineptitude from the foul line as well, that's not Brady's fault.

Game might have been awful to watch, but there are easily worse final four showings.

Still kills me that Dale Brown goes into a 3 - 4 minute stall just before halftime with a 3 point lead and momentum. Next thing you know, a 30 - 27 halftime lead becomes a 67 - 49 arse kicking.
