Ok. So if you “get it” you agree with Anderson?

If it is such a high leverage situation why bring in Anderson?

No but I don’t agree taking him out. But I get why they did it and understand they been doing it all year. You do what you know not with what if’s

As I said if Mookie doubles off Snell we say he left him in too long

no chance anyone says this. It’s not like he was laboring and over 100+ pitches. If a good player tags Snell there everyone shrugs it off as just that.

You’ve got to live and die with your GUYS in the postseason. Have to trust them

I understand their MO. I can’t reason with thinking Anderson was better than Snell at that point

Don’t forget that Cash’s team almost blew a 3-0 series lead against Houston.

Even with Snells numbers 3rd time through? It being must win?

I don’t like going to Anderson but I didn’t make the call nor liked it, just understand it

Yes. His numbers third time through from any other outing don’t mean shite to me in an elimination game. I’m worried about what and how he’s doing tonight.

These are human beings in pressure spots. You aren’t managing numbers in a simulator you’ve got to trust your eyes at some point in postseason baseball

all of this. Snell hasn’t looked like this in a long time. You have to ride that.

I understand and as I said I’m not analytic before in other threads guy. But I understand the move. He played it like he has all season.

I would’ve ridden Snell until he got in trouble.

Once again, the real issue with the hook was going to Anderson. Using any lefty probably gets the rays out of the inning

When a CY award winning pitcher is pitching maybe the best game of his career in an elimination game in the fricking World Series with 9 Ks and allowing only 2 hits at 73 pitches you DO NOT TAKE HIM OUT

This is an all timer bonehead manager move

Like Little keeping Pedro in the game that time against NYY

I for sure get where you are coming from and it’s a great conversation

Glad this game and series have supplied some high leverage decisions that spark these takes and conversations
