Astros Dodgers was at 18.9 mil per game
2018 was down 40% from 2016 WS

I know they want to play the games akin to regular season but running up against a weekend with decent football matchups doesn’t help.

Having 3 of 5 games on Fri-Sat-Sun competing against football and other weekend plans doesnt help ratings.

Doesn't help that East Coast games start at 9:30pm after the national anthems.
And then go to 1:30am.
And that one game went to 4:30am.
And then people saw Dave Roberts manage and were just like frick it...why I am staying up for this shite, I have to go work tomorrow and Sox will probably win with this guy managing the Dodgers.

There’s no realistic way of avoiding going head to head against football. Having 3-4 off days between games isn’t happening. The Friday and Sunday night games weren’t really that competitive anyway, unless you really wanted to watch the end of Indiana/Minnesota. I didn’t bother watching any football either of those nights.

I think it's ironic when people say WWE is fake because it's wrestling. However, every week it's the number one watched show. I'm not shocked by the ratings, as any type of entertainment empire can have a bad day.
