McGinn, the veteran Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writer, kicks off his column with one hell of a troll-lede:

Good luck to the National Football League coaching staff and quarterback that expect Tennessee wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson to play well from scrimmage as a rookie.
Patterson, scored an 11, McGinn reports. His teammate Justin Hunter scored a 12. West Virginia's Tavon Austin scored a 7.

Meanwhile, intelligence is deemed a plus for Keenan Allen (19) and Robert Woods (23), the next-best receivers behind Patterson and Austin.

Bad scores for some...

Agreed. shite has nothing to do with football. If anything I'd rather there be a "Football IQ" test if anything or nothing at all.

I don't get the "satisfaction" some people get out of releasing this information. Sounds like a sportswriter trying to build his own reputation by dragging someone else down. Pretty much a dick move. Terry Bradshaw wasn't the brightest light bulb in the room but he sure knew how to play football.

They ask you what 112 X 0 is. IF you get it right, you're the smartest person in the NBA

The only part of this that annoys me is when they are referred to as "scholar athletes" when they are still in college. Just remove that moniker, stop pretending that they go to class, and continue to pay their room and board. Give the tuition part of their scholarhsip to a real "scholar" who can pronunciate and tie their own shoes.

But that 15 is probably why he never won a Super Bowl
