Looks like the Tiger OD is just a clarification on his status in the hospital the day after Thanksgiving (after car accident).
It seems clear that the woman brought to the ER this morning was Elin's mom, but the breaking story often changes.

I think it's kinda odd that this incident as well as Tiger's accident occurred at roughly the same time - 2:30am.

If you are referring to driving under the influence of ambien, I agree, but it's not going to tarnish his image more than the adultery.

It's the same day, right? It's just that the reason why he went to the ER after the accident is because of an "overdose" not because of injuries from the accident.

A woman getting shipped out of his house in the middle of the night on life support is much worse than adultery, in my book.
If the details are revealed and it turns out that this was all over-blown, then that's one thing; that's why I said "on the surface."

I am guessing the mother in laws broom took a wrong, but familiar turn and ended up at Tigers estate.
