My guess is its the Lakers that are leaking this, because the Pels don't want him. Like I said, a certain poster has long, long been saying that Griffin really has no interest in him and he wouldn't necessarily be included in the deal. He said that months ago.

like i think the player you use leaks and stuff to increase perceived value is either ingram or lonzo considering there are wide ranges of opinion on these guys, with kuzma? its just weird to me

i think the pels leaked the laker offer to get boston more seriously involved. the lakers are definitely behind this kuzma stuff

No question, definitely.

You'll notice that other teams particulars have not leaked besides speculation. But the Lakers have. Again.

this seems like this is pretty close to being done, right? i get the feeling this thing gets agreed to by tonight but the NBA keeps it under wraps until tomorrow

I think its soon. No later than monday. Don't think its today.

Lots of talk about the Bulls trying to get involved by giving up Lavine. Not sure thats enough or exactly what the Pels are looking for, but getting Lavine would make me feel a little better about it as I like him more than most probably do.

I still think it won't be the Lakers, despite what Vegas says. I think the Pelicans are doing everything they can to get a comparable offer from other teams, including Boston. If they get one that is even remotely close to the Lakers offer they will go with that one. The Lakers offer would have to be substantially better, and I think maybe right now it is on that borderline.

Pure speculation.

i like lavine. he has faults (defense) but we're not getting AD value in return

Jrue/Lavine could work, i reckon

so it seems like they may be the third team. maybe something like this would work?

yall get:
BI
kuzma
lavine
the 4th
unprotected 2020 chicago pick

chicago gets
lonzo

lakers get
AD

idk if chicago takes that outside of them apparently loving lonzo but i think yall and us would

i'd take that in a heart beat

*ETA: probably not kuzma, but i'd take it before blinking without kuz

I could definitely live with that, but I think you have Chicago giving up WAY too much value for Lonzo. Lavine and an unprotected?

I don't see them doing that AT ALL. Just trying to be objective.

That would be a Lakers trade I would run to take though.

yea thats why i mentioned idk if chicago does that even though they apparently love lonzo

maybe a 2021 unprotected instead of 2020, or maybe they get the 4th and yall get the 7th instead?

if there is really drama with lavine i could see it. salary dump. they'd have to REALLY love lonzo and really dislike lavine, though

lavin and ingram and the 4th is a really good deal. another 1st is icing on the cake. possibly kuz (as parts to trade off) is an amazing deal

I think that is much more realistic even if I don't like it.

Throw in some future pick swaps/unprotected picks from the Lakers and its pretty close to a deal.

I imagine the Pels would take someone like Sekou at 7.

Did they have the 4th pick? Were they getting us Lavine?

If the Pelicans make the deal at the deadline the Lakers pick is somewhere in the early 20s most likely.

Rumors of ATL and Pacers wanting to get in on this.

I'd love to get Sabonis or Turner.
