isn't there a pro flag football league

NFL players could play a lot longer after they finish with the NFL

NFL is the money behind it and hoping to profit off it's growth because NFL revenue is capped out. E.g. NBA and WNBA relationship

Aka why they involved NFL players, a national broadcast team and fox for that abomination last week

There probably is. Nobody trying to watch that so it isn't on tv.

The NFL is supposedly trying to fund a start-up pro league

Not likely. You under estimate how good the current elite flag football guys are. Washed up NFL players that have started to lose a step aren't going to beat the best of the best flag players. Maybe if we're talking about NFL players who retired early due to concussions, but were otherwise in their physical primes.

Not so sure about that. Most of those guys are pretty busted up when the NFL spits them out.

Might be good for guys that play a year or two and aren't talented enough to stick, or guys not good enough to get drafted.

But if I was putting together a flag football team I'd be looking at basketball players instead of tackle football players.
