It hasn't even been one season and this board thinks he's already hit his ceiling.

I don't think he's hit his ceiling, and I think he has a chance to develop into a SB quality QB if everything breaks right.

Winston is not getting the credit he deserves as a rookie QB in the NFL because he has a sketchy past and speaks like a character on "Moving On Up".

That said, he is really good. He is very similar to Donovan McNabb. McNabb liked the cheeseburger too much and was not clutch when he needed to be, but he was a damn good QB.

Well in that case...

But I agree, he just fell apart

I've been impressed

I've moreso been impressed that he has kept his nose down and seems like the off the field stuff isn't going to linger. I like that

On the field, he's been pretty good, and has shown flashes of great games. He has some good weapons and a couple years of development he could be pretty good. At some point this age of golden QBs will move on and then the next group will fill in

Dalton, Carr and flacco are a flash in the pan. They're average at best. Stafford has had one great year. Brees is old af. Winston and Mariota will be better than Big Ben and Wilson. Cutler and Eli Manning are hilariously overrated.

That's not what you said. You said Winston and Mariota are better than all NFL QBs right now except for Rodgers, Rivers, Cam and Brady.

And Big Ben has turned from one of the most overrated QBs early in his career to one of the most underrated now.

The guy is unreal

With the weapons at his disposal, Big Ben is a fun QB to watch.

the guy that just got out played by Case Keenum... lol ok

Sweet, we're now judging QBs by 1 game?

I'm too lazy but would have a good laugh most likely going back to Peyton Manning's rookie year and finding QBs who outplayed him head to head and using this logic.

There are about 15-18 quality qb's in the NFL. The rest are garbage............. He is in the 15-18 range.............After those the qb play as a whole is at an all-time low.................

If there are 15-18 quality QBs in the NFL, there is absolutely no way you can say that QB play as a whole is at an all-time low.

2015 is in pace for the highest average passer rating in NFL history - 88.6. To put that in perspective, an 88.6 passer rating would have been in the Top 10 of QBs in basically every season prior to 2003.
