I'd love to see his stats if you add the dropped balls. I want to say I've seen at least 25 dropped balls in the games I've watched.

Id imagine you could say the same for every QB in the league.

And that's fair. He does need to be more accurate, but I don't see anything that shows he "isn't there mentally". That's not directed at you. I don't remember who said it.

The game is faster, the season is longer. When they were down last night, they let him stay in. The protection wasn't great and still almost got the comeback. If you're the TB front office, you gotta like what you see. Jameis is a tough customer.

One where he was falsely accused of rape? And getting hooked up with some free crab legs? Yeah, he has a complete lack of intelligence / awareness. I'm sure you've never done anything stupid while in college.

Nope never raped anyone or committed theft. Also is F her in the P rant was real smart. especially considering how much scrutiny he was already under. It show a lack of discipline and awareness and is just plain dumb.

Every Bucs fan I've talked to is fired up about Jameis. A lot were expecting him to fail.

Oh well shite that settles it lets get him fitted for a gold jacket.

It's not irrelevant. It IS a TEAM sport. The QB can't do everything.

I mean, that's why Mariota is getting a pass this season, right? The shitty o-line? How come there are no mitigating circumstances for Winston?

Can't wait to see his year one to year two development. We all saw how huge of a jump that Bortles made from year one to year two, and if Winston can do the same, we'll be talking about him as a top 10 quarterback by the end of next season.

For all the talk about how bad quarterback play is, we have 3 great young quarterbacks going right now: Winston, Bortles, and Carr. All are big athletic quarterbacks who actually throw it down the field. I miss that in the NFL.

You clearly can't give Winston any props. You hated on him his entire redshirt soph year and during the draft/training camp. Just give him props on what he has done so far this year. I know you have it in you.

I loved him after his Heisman year but his sophomore year was a huge eye opener for me. This year he hasn't been consistently good enough for me to say that he has gotten that bad play out of him.

All we know right now is that he has the potential to be a future pro bowler and consistent top 5 QB in the league.

Mike Glennon played just as good as rookie a few years ago, with less talent, and no one was crowning him. I just dont get it.

How is he getting a pass? I don't really think he will be great either. Fact is Winston has great WRs. Every QB throws pass that are dropped or that are picked off because the WR made a bad play on it.

Doug Martin, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson vs ....can you even name Mariota's RB and top 2 WRs?

and i dont think he's getting a pass. A few weeks ago on here there were a ton of people hating on him.

I don't remember Glennon ever having a 5 TD performance or putting the team on his back and winning the game like Winston did versus Atlanta. For a rookie QB, that's impressive.

What?! Given what I've seen, I think both Tennessee and Tampa Bay made great choices.

They made they only choices they could. I think they will both be serviceable QBs and may turn out to be more than that, but there is nothing that I have seen to tell me that they are elite franchise QBs

I know they have Hunter, DGB, and Wright.

RB? Sankey and Fowler. I don't know much else about the Titans

No one is an elite franchise QB as a rookie

They've shown ability and potential

I think that is his point. The titans cast is much worse.

People in this thread are saying Winston will be as good as Moon.

They shown some potential and ability, but nothing that is even close to enough to even think they will eer be pro bowl level.

I never said he was bad.
the Case Keenum comment kinda insinuates it, to be honest.

He looks about how I would expect a 21 year old to play
The issue is that he's been much better than most 21 year old QBs.
