Could see him having a Matt Ryan like career.

I don't understand how you're getting the impression that OP or anyone in this thread is sucking him off. No one is. Read the post.
read the OP's other posts in this thread. You're obviously confused

could definitely see that in a best case scenario

Best case Matt Ryan?? lol go to bed man.

After you tried to shite on him and compare him to Josh Freeman?
And you said "how can he start a thread like this?" as if he was acting like he was some amazing quarterback in the OP.

Man, you're something.

Matt Ryan has had some really solid, yet imperfect years in the NFL
He's talented enough to win a super bowl with the perfect storm behind him. I dont see how that's a laughable comparison

I did this thread already.
Carr
Mariota
Winston
Bortles
Bridgewater
I think Mariota and Winston are pretty interchangeable.

I'm not sold on Bortles, he beats up bad teams and picks up yards when teams play prevent defense.

we had pretty much the same list and you're over here giving me shite

That's a 5 player list.
We aren't just comparing them to their other young peers. We are comparing their performance and potential in a historical context as well.

Him and Mariota will be the face of the NFL for the next decade. Both are already better than 80% of nfl qbs. Only Rodgers, rivers, Cam, and Brady are better right now.

Ive watched a lot of his games
Really?

and he just has a lot of empty stat games, such as tonight.

The game was never close. He didnt play well tonight at all.
Agreed

He hasn't beat a team .500 or better all season.
Yes, "he" (see..... It's already all about him) has
quote:
a funny stat i saw earlier in the week, only 2 QBs have not thrown for more than 1 TD on the Saints all season. That would be Brandon Weeden & Jameis Winston....TWICE.

He'll have his moments, I think Aaron Brooks is a good comparison. He just doesn't seem to have it mentally, consistently.
You'll have your moments, but I think my anus is a good comparison. You just like to lie about watching a lot of his games, when you clearly haven't.
He didn't at especially well, tonight. Take that to the bank, and quit doubling down on stupid.
He is your hero. He is america's hero.
You'll come around.

Seriously, gtfo.
Brees. Big Ben. Wilson. Carr. Romo. Luck. Palmer. Dalton. E Manning. Tannehill. Stafford. Flacco. Cutler
Along with the names you already mentioned.
How in the name of frick do you leave off Brees, Wilson, and Big Ben especially?
And here we go again with throwing Cam into the elite crowd.
This board has aids.

Bill Simmons is a fricking idiot.

If Tampa Bay continues to draft well and draft players who work with Jameis's strengths, they could put together a good 10-12 year run with him at QB.
Posted on 12/18/15 at 7:25 am to agregime1
For Winston, consistency is going to be the issue. I don't think he will ever be a Brady/Rodgers type that just doesn't have bad games, but I can see him developing a lot like Eli. Good enough that he can beat anyone, but streaky enough he can lose to anyone.
