Yes because he cane around when they added weights to the balls and the game became basically the same on all surfaces
They wanted rallies which made the game boring and homogeneous
I mean you truly had different surfaces and styles of play, now you don’t

Ok I’m back with you now. I babysit my nephews for a living. That’s right,I’m a nanny for pocket money. If anyone wants wants to laugh at me go ahead.
I strongly disagree about Federer and your assessment of his dominance. I hope Fed wins one more Wimbledon then does a mic drop. It would be incredible to see imho but I bet Fed wants to retire with a more comfortable lead on Nadal than just two or three Slams. I know Nadal has two more French Open Championships in him. If Fed wants to be the King of all time, he better win this 2019 Wimbledon.

Young Federer used to serve and volley every point on the old grass and win wimbledon, and then change his game for the clay and make deep runs only to lose to Nadal
He used to be able to play all ways which was his most impressive trait

I know Bobby Ray hates this but I wished the straight serve volley was back. This version of grass tennis and hardcourt tennis bores me
I loved watching guys bomb away and the volley that seemed impossible were fun to watch. I guess that’s why I loved the Nabisco in MSG so much.

Come on Serena you have to get this break and win it in two sets. Serena is out of shape I’m calling it like it is. She’s sluggish and I don’t think she can win in 3 sets.
Yes! Get Some Serena. She needs to work on her cardio though. Wow I was scared there for minute.

How little will Droopy Dawg move today? I say he will draw a 3x3 box and not get out of it

I was watching Murray play the other day, thinking he was moving so awkwardly since his injury, and then realized that that was what he looked like when perfectly healthy. lol.

DroopyDawg has his different levels and the levels he showed today was not one I had seen before. I’m used to him quitting midmatch

The problem with the Next Gen is that almost all of them have awful return games if you look at their stats. That's why Felix is so much better than the rest of the Next Gen players. He's won 24% of his return games on hard court for his career which is a higher break percentage than Federer and Djokovic had at the same points in their careers. The guy has the tools to be an excellent returner.
Exactly. Everyone focuses on the tweeners and hot shots and ignores the return game.

Fed beat Pete at Wimbledon 18 years ago today and there were 200 serve and volley points.
