Will we ever see a conference USA team let’s say MTSU

Gather a boat load of money in a year and decide they are gonna go all out and buy a roster that is big 10 or sec quality and absolutely crush their schedule? I’m sure people will say no playoffs but the talent they would have they would for sure make it in the playoffs and have a shot at the natty.

Also why would someone donate that much when it could just go to UT or Vandy who does have a shot
The middle money sweet spot where this could have happened has passed. The big money it would take for a Middle Tennessee to rise isn’t dumb enough to spend it there

What would be the point for Middle Tennessee State to spend all that money on players to have one season and then lose all the players in the portal?
That one season, whatever success they could get from it
They wouldn't be financially capable of sustaining it and the fans after one incredible season wouldn't be happy with a C-USA c'ship, which in reality is the best they can hope for

If a CUSA team goes undefeated they still don't deserve a slot in the CFB Playoff. There are no good teams left in that conference.
