He has been less than avg in the NFL so does that equate to sucking considering he was a top 10 pick?

He had a mediocre season in 2006. Hasn't had a horrible season and got replaced by a HOFer.

The real question should be if Tang will be obsessed with Sanchez's sucking.

so we've got a completion % around 55 when he saw extensive action and has thrown more ints than tds. Seems sucky to me.

he's being outplayed by derek anderson who is missing wide open receivers in the end zone. should tell you something.

Not like Warner stepped in played lights out and never looked back. Leinart was given a few chances as the starter and just consistently shite the bed.

He was the starter in going into the 08 preseason but just failed. One game he threw like 3 ints in the first half and that was when Warner got the job.

Leinart actually had an above average rookie season where he finished on an upswing.

Then he lost a TC battle to a first ballot HOFer and has been backup since. No shame in that.

He gets a bad rap - he hasn't busted out YET. I thought ha played well late last year. His rookie year was better than say Brees or Manning. I think the main problem is Whisenhut hates him.

He started the 3rd preseason game in 08 against the raiders threw 3 picks and had a passer rating of 2.8.

One preseason half dude. He's played well in live regular season action consistently. I don't remember him shitting the bed v's the Saints in the playoffs (I'm pretty sure he played a series or two).

I'm not really going to bat for Leinart in that I think he'll be a Pro Bowler, but I think he's good enough to be a legit starting NFL QB.
