I don't give a frick what conference you're in. Finishing .500 when you're pulling top 5 classes makes you a shitty coach.

He’s 45-5 so he can obviously coach

Yeah but how many of those 45 wins came against teams anywhere near OSU in terms of talent? They play against a bunch of peewee teams most of the time. Then when he has to play against someone with comparable talent, like Michigan or someone in the playoffs, he’s all of the sudden just OK.

So this year and the offensive struggle don’t count because he hanst played in his bowl game yet?

I'm just pointing out the accuracy of my statement.

Y’all very well could back door into the playoffs again, but do you really like your chances against UGA or UM?

Depends which Day shows up to call plays and if Knowles learned his lesson. Yes, this team is absolutely good enough to beat anyone. Doesn't mean they would.

Either way, don't you think there's wide gap between losing to #12 in the Rose Bowl and beating Georgia and TTUN to win a championship?

So, as I said, he's coached two full seasons.

Y'all kept Cooper for like 12 years and he only beat Michigan twice.
13 actually, but Cooper’s record outside of Michigan was way worse as well. He won 70% of his games, Tressel won 83% and Urban/Day won 99%. Bruce and Woody were both over 75%.

So over 70 years and 6 coaches (excluding Fickell’s one season) OSU was clearly at its worst under Cooper against Michigan and everyone else combined.

No, but it's better to have the opportunity than not.

Ohio State's last 7 coaches are in the College Football Hall of Fame. The coach before that was Paul Brown. I don't think there's another school that comes close to this.

Urbs transformed OSU with his move to national recruiting.

It wasn't unusual for UW to beat the Buckeyes before he showed up.
