Florida has gotten pretty far by being cowards about their schedule, seems like a good model to follow.

Ok. So that puts LSU’S wins over Georgia southern and Northwestern St. as not that big of a win.

Because realistically there are only about 10-12 teams every year worthy or capable of winning it all.

Same in men's basketball and baseball. (And in women's basketball you have only three teams with legit shots each year: Baylor, UConn, and Notre Dame)

Yet we still have a playoff system where the conference champion gets to participate. And in baseball you actually see a small school win it (Fresno State, Coastal Carolina)

Stanford is not what they were 5 years ago. They used to physically beat the shite out of everyone. I'm not sure what has changed, but it looks like they peaked several years ago under Shaw.

What’s the point of UCF even suiting up if they are disqualified from the CFP before the season starts?

more than 75% of college football is disqualified from the playoff before the season starts.

But CFB and the playoff format is broken. When 75% of the 130 teams in CFB have zero chance of making the playoffs going INTO the season, it’s broken.

Never thought of it that way, but you're right. Alabama will have to lose three games soon to be excluded.

It is a new season. Should the raptors be given the title at the start of the nba season because of last year or should we let the play on the field/court decide that?
