Success in playoffs? Never.
He and the Ravens just played in the AFC title game. If they hadn’t abandoned their normal, more balanced offense, they probably beat the Chiefs and probably win the Super Bowl.
No, Lamar isn’t the type of QB that you can rely solely on his arm, but he is very effective in the right offense. He has also continued to make progress as a passer. He is leaps and bounds better than he was a few years ago. Yeah, I’m biased toward the Ravens and Lamar, but I’m also probably the only one here who sees every single Ravens game in its entirety. I can see the progress he has made.

Speaking of Burrow, his career passer rating is 98.6. That’s with Higgins and Boyd for 4 seasons and Chase for 3.
Lamar’s career passer rating is 98. That’s with Mark Andrews and Ughhhhh yeah Mark Andrews.
Burrow is called a top 3-5 QB by this board and Lamar is a running back who can’t throw according to those same posters.

How mad are you going to be when he makes the HOF?
He probably won’t care. Lamar is a good regular season player, he’s like the Jim Harden of the NFL. His play style doesn’t work in the playoffs.

Game plan against KC did him no favors this year. A pretty big whiff by their coaching staff. Not sure he'll ever have a better shot.

Burrow is 5-2 in the playoffs with a 93 passer rating.
Lamar is 2-4 in the playoffs with a 75 passer rating.
Josh Allen is 5-5 in the playoffs with a 100 passer rating.
Hell, Dak is 2-5 in the playoffs but he has a 92 passer rating.
Purdy is 4-2 in the playoffs with a 96 rating.
Jared Goff is 4-4 with an 88 rating.
Not sure if you see the trend here, but I can continue.

Compare all of their weapons and get back to me. How many of them have 87 rushing yards per game in the playoffs as well?

Burrow also has a dog shite line in front of him and has made the Bengals..BENGALS relevant. Completely different situations.

People blaming the game plan but the Ravens were right there in the end thanks to their defense and Lamar throws into triple coverage

Meh he’s had a league average line the last couple of seasons. Browning outperformed him this past season behind the same line.
The Bengals had multiple SB appearances before drafting Burrow. Between 2010 and 2019 they made the playoffs 5 times. They weren’t the Patriots/Steelers, but they weren’t the Browns/Jets/Raiders either.

Did you miss my post on the last page? You can't have a top 5 defense, a top 5 offensive line, a QB who makes 50 million dollars per year, and also top 5 offensive weapons. The cap will not allow for it.
There are 12+ current QBs who have a better quarterback rating than Lamar in the playoffs. The only current "starter" (if you want to still call him that) with multiple playoff games and a lower rating than Lamar is Jimmy G, and he's only 1 point lower.
Lamar has been a bad quarterback in the playoffs, there's no way around that.
The Ravens have averaged 16 points per game in Lamar's playoff starts.

He was under a rookie contract this season, has never top 5 weapons, and has had a top 5 o-line one season. He has had a top 5 defense in 4 out of his 5 full seasons as a starter I’ll give you that.
