That’s assuming even he gets in, which is very far from guaranteed and is possibly unlikely.

Are they closing the HOF to RB’s in the near future?

Modern NFL rules have relegated RB's to interchangeable utility players.

He’s already had more longevity than most RB’s these days, multiple rushing titles, and a 2k season. He’s very likely getting in

With modern QBs, the RB surely is making a comeback.

You see teams lean on the run game not since the 90s. About 10 teams in only 3 games already have over 100 rushing attempts.

The rebirth of the RB star, like everything, comes back around. Or is this a two-deep safety temporary thing?

McCaffrey has 10k+ yards from scrimmage in 7 years and has made 4 All-pro teams.

Kamara has close to 11k yards from scrimmage and 3 all pro selections.

The position is different. Milestones will be viewed differently in this era, but yes other running backs will get in

Rules haven’t done that. Analytics have… from when Terrell Davis went down years ago and Mike Shanahan kept plugging and playing RBs… or all the cheap RBs Sean Payton used to find

I could see easily see LeSean McCoy making the hall of fame. Brian Westbrook too.

Some of that has to do with how beastly Davis was in the playoffs.

Things go in cycles. The game has been on a running oriented trend the last couple years. Don’t think the days of the bellcow back will return, but they’ll still have a chance to have a big impact.

Henry should get in. Kamara, McCaffrey are fringe possibilities. Their APY would help them.

Hell no. Rbs are still heavily involved in offenses and all things are cyclical as we have seen rushing up this year.

He had a very underrated career. I’ll never forget that game where he ran all over Detroit during a snow storm.
