The conversation has turned into current top QBs, no?

I feel like you're just being obtuse now.

5th in Passer Rating
3rd in Yards
1st in Completion %
5th in TDs

All that, despite having the 5th most pressures this year and a 75% accuracy rating while under pressure. He's been hit as he throws 9x this year (actually getting better) which has resulted in a few interceptions.

His sack rate is 10.3% which is absolutely ridiculous. He saves drives and makes big plays out of it, but with that many pressures mistakes have to be expected.

Even so, his interception % is 2.09%.

His career interception percentage is tied with Peyton Manning at 2.6%

I'm all about discussion. Hit us with an argument as to why Romo and Roeth over Luck this season is laughable.

ETA: I'm going to assume that because Luck is leading all fantasy scorers that you thought he was playing at an elite level, especially when compared to guys like Roeth and Romo. And that's fine. But I look past total yards and TDs when I'm judging QB performance. Luck has put up a bunch of TDs and yards, but he hasn't been efficient in doing so. Not a good completion percentage and he's thrown a bunch of picks.

Holy Crap. Romo has been a top 10 QB for a long time and always borderline top 5.

He's carried that team through some absolutely shitty years.

I'm down with saying Big Ben had a better season. Romo.. not so much.

What exactly do you mean by "carried"? Like.. Carried them to a .500 record or not the post-season or what?

Tony Romo has been very efficient this season, as can be seen by his QB and PFF ratings and stellar completion percentage.

Big Ben has been efficient while putting up similar numbers to Luck.

Romo has been efficient while throwing 200 less times, 10 less TDs, 1300 less yards, and having the best running game in the league to rely on.

He hasnt been "just efficient". He has been the most efficient QB in the entire league almost(barely behind Rodgers). Not saying you are wrong or I am right, but for people to think it is laughable one way or the other is crazy

Meaning that his ridiculous QB play in November and December gave his team a shot to make the playoffs. 2011 comes to mind.

QB can only account for so much. He doesn't play defense. He doesn't run the ball.

Do you discount Tom Brady's performances for having a top 10 scoring defense behind him every year?

It is a lot easier to be efficient and protect the ball with a good oline and defense.
