And if so, how soon will the tank start?

I have a feeling Denver will draft another bust in Justin Herbert from Oregon, leaving us no chance for Tua.

Is he a good fit for the NFL?

Cardale looked awesome for OSU. Did nothing in the pros.

He’s short, but accurate and throws a catchable pass. Seems to be pretty intelligent and knows how to manipulate a defense with his eyes. Good pocket presence.

He doesn’t appear to have the best arm strength, but that doesn’t kill anyone’s draft status.

Tua is far further developed as a passer. About as polished as a pro prospect coming out of college as you’ll see.

Only fear I could see having with him would be him topping out already in college like leinart, or just simply his injuries

as an LSU fan I hate to say this but he’s probably the best quarterback in quite some time. When he enters the draft he will have won three national championships( I know but it’s true) and two Heisman trophies imo

Tua may have some issues with GM since he’s listed at 6’1”. If there’s someone coming out that’s taller they’ll take him most likely. But I can’t think of a Sophomore coming up that’s as good as him

It would be interesting debate if Lawerence was year older and Herbert stays for Senior year. If Francois doesn’t blow his knee and Jimbo would have stayed he may have been a 1st rounder.

I think the short QB stigma has largely been eradicated for the top guys. Baker went #1 last year at 6’1

True but you have GM’s out there that don’t want to explain that pick. I mean I’d take Tua over Herbert. Some have Herbert as first overall this year.

Well the beauty of that conundrum is that you’ll be canned before you ever have to answer that question

They show height isn't as important as some think.

I get that but you have to hit and be certain on a first rounder. And a GM picking early may not so what Dorsey did. Mayfield was somewhat shocking first pick.

GM are going to go safe pick in first pick usually.

I wouldn’t taken Mayfield 1 last year. I’d gone Barkley and QB with pick 4. But Dorsey wanted Mayfield bad apparently

I get the stigma ON the stigma of thinking QB are too short sometimes.

But I think Tua's height will cause him major problems in the NFL.

He doesn't see the middle of the field and doesn't seem to be on his normal NLF next level mode when he needs to make an 8 yard pass if it isn't ok the very edge of the field(when he's incredible, because he's incredible).

He moves SO well in the pocket that he can probably overcome that. But. A really big part of the NFL passing game WON'T come easy for him.
