i agree. Altho it has some strategic advantages. if the defender thinks that his opponents flopping has the refs attention , he may tend to back off some of the aerial challenges

Don't hate soccer.
I'll watch the World Cup b/c it has athletes from around the world. But by and large, soccer is not played by the best athletes in the U.S. There is less incentive to follow it.

I agree that this is the case... And while I play soccer alot I must admit that I find it a bit difficult to watch.

I'm almost 99% positive most of you on this board couldn't hang for 5 minutes in our indoor soccer league. Your insides would probably feel like they want to be on your outside. Not to mention it's much more physical than you could ever imagine. And oh btw, "Futbol" was created long before "American football" was created.
