I think Curtis would move up to 5A if they would allow it in football only

When did they start awarding "scholarships"? Unless this is a very recent development, they don't give them out.

Also, the LHSAA requires all schools (both public and private) to have a "district" that they can draw students from, based upon the parish's public school attendance zones. Since U-High is located within McKinley High's attendance zone, U-High's students must come from that zone to be eligible to play their first year there.
