Zach Edey is an obvious one. When bama played clemson their bigs would hang out there 5-6 seconds at a time. im sure it happens in games i dont watch as closely. I dont believe a single one was called all tournament. i guess its no big deal if its never called but why is it even a rule?

same reason they don't call carryover when dribbling... game evolving, rules not enforced

He gets in and then clears pretty regularly. 3 seconds is a long time.

I thinks it’s probably a little of both. The refs are pretty lax and the players clear out regularly. It’s kind of like the play clock in football, the refs always seem to give them an extra tick.

I was casually watching the Pels v Bucks the other day and 3 seconds was called on Brooks Lopez (pretty sure). My ears poked up and was like whaaat? That's a blast from the past

I think that has more to do with style of play, particularly with the bigs

If y'all get to meet Purdue y'all have to worry more about how their guards like to dramatically flop for fouls.

In football it’s stupid because everyone can see the play clock

There wouldn’t be an NBA if they enforced the rules of basketball.
Carrying the basketball and palming the basketball while dribbling are explicitly against the rules and what make the game so intrinsically difficult.

Every other possession in the NBA.
