Why is Yao Ming in the Hall of Fame?

Dude didnt even play in his 30s. Played the equivalent of 6 seasons in the NBA and averaged 20 and 9 for 6 seasons. I mean.....one could argue that Nikola Vucevic has had the same level of production for longer RIGHT NOW. For someone to get inducted for 6 seasons of basketball they better be incredible fricking seasons.
Im not saying that that he isnt a Hall of Fame talent. He just doesnt deserve to be in there for actual production. He got in for what he did to capture the Asian market for the NBAs pocketbooks.
The fact that he and Shaq got inducted together is ridiculous.
Also before anyone pulls the "Its the pro basketball HOF not the NBA HOF" Warren Moon bull shite.....he only played 120 games in China.

it's the basketball HOF< not the NBA HOF and the NBA basically has to honor his impact on the Chinese market

OK, so his career may have been short lived, but the guy is someone that we still talk about to this very day. He's certainly had an impact on how we talk about the game of basketball.

Yao actually was good in the NBA and accomplished shite. Yi Jianlian didnt do anything in the NBA.
