They seem to demolish everybody and dominate the FCS? Why not move up?

App State moved up, beat North Carolina and South Caolina, and earned a NY6 bo...I mean the New Orleans Bowl vs UAB.

Why would they want to fund more scholarships and add more sports?

They’re Division 1 and competitive in the Summitt

I talk about us cheeseheads being a hearty people... those people are legit. -8 feels like -21. Though the do get to go inside for the game.

It's one thing to compete in the FCS, it's quite another to do so in the FBS. Before you bring up Appalachian State and some of the others, think about where those schools are located and then think about where North Dakota State is located.

NDSU is probably one of the most miserable places on earth for a college student during the winter. I doubt very seriously you can convince four and five-star athletes to come to Fargo to win a national championship at the FBS level.

I'm assuming if they moved it up it would be to the MWC. They wouldn't need elite recruits to compete with them. They might not be able to win 15 games every year like they do now but they for sure would be competitive.

NDSU would go to MAC not the MWC. UND left the Sky because of travel NDSU would have same travel issues

They also line up academically with MAC more

NDSU, ISU, MSU, SDSU should all move up imo. Not sure how they’d do it. UNI too if they can afford it.

FBS requires your stadium to hold a certain amount of people.

What’s the point in moving up? They are in the midst of one of the most dominant dynasties in sports, regardless of classification.

That seems a helluva lot more exciting than going into the MAC and playing for a shot at some chicken shite bowl game in Detroit.

It actually requires you to fill so many seats as well. We all know there are a ton of programs that struggle to do that.

Would you rather dominate and win nattys in Triple A or be largely irrelevant in the big leagues?

The one off year you pull an NIU and go to the Orange Bowl.
