Why is Michigan/Ohio State always so early?

18As big a game as it is, wouldn’t it be much better at night? Yes, I know it’s traditional because I remember it always being early, even as a little kid. But c’mon man, they need to make it a night game. Is there any good reason to have it so early?

So at this time of the year have to start at noon not 330
They did end up playing the 2006 game later with lights for TV on ABC. But Fox gets biggest ratings at noon

on 11/26/22 at 8:48 am to Caraway RyeI don't think Michigan had permanent lights until around 2010 or so. The only 3:30 OSU/Michigan game I can remember is 2006. It sets up well, Bama/Auburn get the late afternoon and then games like USC/ND can be featured at night.
