Why have people said for years that MJ pushed off Bryon Russell?

Mike faked right with a couple of dribbles and Russell bit hard. Soooo hard. Russell was committed with his momentum.
Mike just touched Russell’s arse as he was going by after Mike had stopped and was about to pull up for the shot.

I see less called a foul nightly in basketball at all levels. Didnt make a difference as Russell was already broken and it wasnt egregious but in basketball currently the extension of the arm, touch or not, would constitute a foul.

Here's another question..
Why did you nerds convince young me that the game winner over Ehlo was a great and defining moment in NBA history?
It has it's own name.
For Christ's sake it has a Wikipedia page

Sorry for the post.
I just watched the last 3 minutes of that game on YouTube. Stockton was amazing.
I was watching when it happened.
Russell was beaten. MJ didn’t change Russell’s ability to get back and defend the shot by touching his arse.

It was a great example of Jordan’s greatness in the clutch. It was game 5 of a best-of-5 series and the Bulls were down by 1 on the road with 2 seconds left. And he drilled that bitch.

Because he did push him. Look, no one's calling a foul at that point, but you can see him push Russell, although not that hard.
Russell's foot slips and the rest is history.

I’ve definitely never seen a play with that little bit of contact called an offensive foul. If it had been called on Jordan in that moment, it would be one of the most criticized calls in the history of Western Civilization.

Not talked about enough when it comes down to greatest point guard of all time.
He did it all. Facilitate. Efficient scorer. Defense.

The primary reason is because he did

Because the late 80s Cavs are really the best example of a really good team not sniffing a title because of Jordan. That team had three all star caliber guys and had they not been eliminated by Chicago they would have likely had a date with Detriot in the conference finals who they had split the season series with.
But you don't tend to know much out of LBJ.
