I mean. It’s painfully obvious why he was suspended. Anyone with a 1/4 working brain can see this lol

you mean like the reason we explained to you about an hour ago or the terminology you are gonna give us that the Colts technically used to void it?

they voided him because he was washed and wasn't worth the money. they used his wife's pregnancy issues and him missing the flight and not giving forward acknowledgement (of his wife going into labor at 28 weeks) as the cause of how he violated the terms of the contract.

The players union fought it because It's not in spirit of the contract. Now the players all have to read every word and take it all technically because the owners have shown they'll do anything to save a dollar.

It wasn’t because he missed a flight lol. You don’t actually believe that do you?

Can you read
quote:

They were gonna cut him that offseason. Him missing the flight just gave them a way to do it and save more money.

Sounds like they kept the language in but gave him his guaranteed money sooner and more at signing instead of dragging it out over the life of the contract. At least that’s what the twitter rumors are saying

I heard the same. $500k more upfront now with the signing bonus and the Bengals kept the language they wanted. Funny how money will change up your principles like that. I’m with the Bengals though, NFL is a life changing opportunity, we should hold the players accountable to their actions. Go to practice, go home, stay out of trouble.

The payout of his money was the entire point of the holdout, so yes money did get the contract dispute resolved. But I was under the impression they were unwilling to negotiate even though they said they wanted to negotiate. I guess it was actually the latter

No. That’s what his camp said lol

And we’ve already established that they’ve flip flopped throughout the process and have made conflicting statements publicly. Try to catch up.

Yep. Money made them tap out and give in against their “what’s right” approach. Funny how some are big on principles and holding fast to what tbey think is fair until you flash some money in their face lol

Anyone with half a brain knew they were going to eventually give in and agree to the clause. Hopefully he can avoid doing stupid things, for his sake lol

I know right. They were, in fact, willing to negotiate after all. So you were, oh what’s the word I’m looking for?….wrong

Sure. And that went against what they said publicly. But hey man, this might be your first “win” here. What a way to celebrate lol
Tell us again about Trent Richardson. That’ll get you crashing back down to earth
