re: Why don't the Bengals cut ties with Shemir Stewart and just sign Hendrickson to a deal?

I shouldn’t be, but I’m confident you’ll figure out the Trent Richardson issue eventually

we're all confident you won't
your stance is basically just "players should sign contracts no matter what they say, don't even read them because it doesn't matter, be good and the owner will pay you in good faith even if you tear your ACL before the first game and are never the same player as long as you say the right things."
If you were Deshaun Watson's agent he wouldve lost all of his Brown's money already.
It's like you don't understand why players have agents in the first place.

What’s amazing is you don’t even understand why the Trent Richardson situation was brought up in the first place by someone else and how it relates to Stewart’s situation. You’re so caught up in arguing the minutia you can’t see the forest for the trees as to why his situation is relevant.
Maybe you’ll figure that out but probably not. It was already spelled out ITT by multiple people but you have shown you’re incapable of interpreting context clues. The point continues to soar very far over your head

This situation has nothing to do with what I’m talking about with Richardson. How can TWO people be this wrong about something that was clearly said in this thread lol

You’ve said this to everyone ITT at some point. Maybe that should tell you something about who is actually confused here. You don’t even know what you’re arguing anymore

The Richardson thing was all about getting out of a bad contract, not his conduct. He wasn't even gonna be active for the game he missed. You are the one that is wrong.
The contract language allowed them to take advantage of it. That's exactly what Stewart's agent is doing a good job trying to avoid.

You both think that he was suspended because he missed a practice lol

This has gone over his head this entire thread. Don’t expect him to acknowledge the point now

He was suspended because the Colts wanted out of a bad contract
Like I said, you’re hung up on the minutia and missing the fricking mark on the actual point

You can’t just say “I want out of contract so…….suspended!!”

noon
Once again Tacky proves he doesn't know what he's talking about but he wants to argue
This post is from last night. Clearly states "flight", not practice.

Of not calling his employer during a medical emergency? Ok, now that changes the argument how? It’s still the Colts creating a reason to fire him over a bullshite clause in his contract. Enter Stewart, that’s exactly why his agent is advising him not to sign. You said previously ITT that owners probably wouldn’t be so draconian with enforcing that clause. That’s why Trent Richardson was brought up smooth brain. Because owners absolutely will be that draconian if they want out of a contract

No one is surprised you’re on the wrong side of an argument. Your ratio on this site is embarrassing for someone who isn’t trying to troll

Not really. This is what people expect from you.
I just wanna keep this thread at the top now so more people get a chance to see.

Sure go ahead. “Trent Richardson got suspended for missing a flight”
Posted on 7/25/25 at 4:32 pm to TackySweater
Is your argument that if he made the flight but didnt call before he wouldve still been suspended?
The no call part was just their "detrimental" part for voiding his contract for missing the flight.
And you are proving our point/and shemar's agents that owners cant be trusted to act in good faith in the same way that you arent. You are trying to win a battle based on technicality in wording and sequence of events, which is what anyone about to sign an almost $20 million dollar guaranteed contract wants to avoid being used to void it.

I mean. It’s painfully obvious why he was suspended. Anyone with a 1/4 working brain can see this lol
I’m still amazed that TWO of you are this confused by this lol
