The team didn't win shite with him there. We acting like this is a returning Super Bowl winning player playing against his former team.

If you don’t understand the media-created storylines for clicks and eyeballs by now, I don’t know what to tell you.

do you really not understand why this is a big storyline this week?

Parsons expected a "welcome home" party for returning to AT&T stadium allegedly
Fully expect him to kill Dak today for wasting 4 years of his career and maybe increase his sack total to 3.

NFL sells “stories”.
Packers are a popular, legacy franchise who might have most all the pieces in place now for a serious run.
Cowboys haven’t done squat for 3 decades but for his ineptitude as a GM, Jerrah the businessman has managed to successfully keep Dallas a team that’ll draw as many people (if not more) watching to see them lose (and usually going away happy in recent decades) as there are of us who actually root for them.
Parsons being traded to GB just adds another layer to “the story” the NFL would sell anyway.

Jerry has been negotiating with players directly while acting like he is their friend & mentor & leaving agents out for years & getting away with it because he is Jerry Jones. This time it didn't work & he thought he had a verbal deal with Micah on the structure of the new contract & Micha told him to follow up with his agent. Then when his Agent found out what was going on he drew a line in the sand & said to negotiate directly with him. When Parsons publicly asked for a trade Jerry took that as betrayal & got the best trade deal he could. And here we are tonight.

Cowboys would still be 1-2 with Micah on roster
