I just assumed he would stay a coach. Seemed like it was in his blood. But I am sure an administration job is a pay raise.

There's a Fess Irvin missed free throw quip in there somewhere - let me look.

An administrator can’t coach.

The vice principal from DTHS took a position as principal for the APSB early college option at RPCC because that principal took an admin position with the RPCC. Now I don’t know what happened to the admin at RPCC...

“It’s crazy that it happened this way," he said. "I am glad we won, so it was positive experience for all of us. When I came back to East Ascension five years ago I didn’t see myself ever leaving. It’s my alma mater and means so much to me. Sometimes people forget we are coaches and educators and that we live in both arenas. “If I passed up this opportunity, I had no idea when I might get another one like it. After consulting with my family, I realized this was too good to pass up.”

Was a great coach. Kinda weird he left in the middle of the season.

Wanna day he recently graduated with his masters in education or something like that so maybe it was the plan all along.

He's on the fast track. Probably return to EA as principal in 5 years. He seems to be a solid, ambitious guy.
