Why did it take the Freeman 3 years to get back to the type of program he inherited?
Maybe because he’s a first time head coach and went through some growing pains?

think he wouldn't have soft teams. Kelly's teams are ALWAYS soft.
He won the sec west( you dont do that with a soft team)....and he is the most successful coach you've had since Lispy was walking your sidelines.

Imagine if Marcus Freeman went up against a Saban-coached Bama team in the playoffs. He would've gotten annihilated.

All he had to do to was do what shitty Kelly was doing and he couldn't do that? You know, since he has proven he is better than Kelly by doing things Kelly did at ND.......

Maybe he wanted to switch things up from what Kelly did because Kelly couldn’t beat teams like Georgia? When did Kelly beat a top tier SEC team?

Inherited a top 5 program
Considering how the Rant feels about Freeman, you would have thought he would have burned it to the ground.
Yet he has increased the win totals. Maybe he was sandbagging.

Top 5 program. Go look at the schedule. ONE ranked team - UC.
Not much different than your current schedule... its cute watching you shite on your own accomplishments so you can shite on a coach that was more successful than what your current coach has been.
If Freeman was given the choice to have the same exact career at ND as Kelly he would sign that deal right now.

Freeman ain’t winning it all. Leonard is a trashcan qb. Make him one dimensional and make him throw and ND will get boat raced.

Just pointing out the fact that Freeman inherited a to program from Kelly and made it worse.... he just got back to where it was.
Kelly inherited the worst lsu roster since dinardo and made the program immediately better.
Those are facts.
Kelly was already making semi final and national title games at ND.
Freeman finally got back there.
Lsu was having .500 and losing seasons.
Kelly gets here we win the west in year 1 and year 2 he has heisman winner and finished ranked higher than Freeman.

Imagine if B-ri went against a Deboer Bama team with a terrible QB and everything in front of us that we should have beaten at Home

Well ima go have a celebratory bourbon or four, so time to sign off with a very, VERY heartfelt THANK YOU to LSU Nation for taking that pompous douchenozzle off our hands, and GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

Bama would beat ND. Beating a 2 loss uga with a freshman making his 1st start wasn't like beating 2022 or 2023 uga. Imo anyway.

ND’s roster was not depleted, BK didn’t leave them in a negligent manner, Freeman has hired the right coaches, and ND has recruited well.
Posted on 1/2/25 at 7:51 pm to AlGoldenDomer
Sorry you had to wait a couple more years for this than just keeping BK

Kelly has done everything Freeman did at ND and more.
Except not even win one playoff game in 10 years.
Freeman has won two.

I hate the dude but the recruiting class and transfer class can’t be denied. Great class and should have us where we need to be next year.

Freeman is in the semi finals. Where is Kelly? Hint: he wasn’t even close to the 12 team playoff. FTR I’m not a Freeman fan. But for fricks sake, take off your purple and gold glasses for a change. Sometimes the other guy is just better. Surely your wife explained this to you on your honeymoon?

By doing the same thing Kelly did at ND?
How many playoff wins did Kelly have at ND? How many NY bowls did he win? Win percentage against top 10 teams?
Freeman is far and away doing more with BK, in large part with players that Freeman has recruited.
