Why did Dak not play yesterday?

Was not even dressed out. Mahomes, Carr, Trevor Lawrence all starting week 1.

No idea but I’ve heard he’s been dreadful this camp. Maybe he’s hurt?

I have seen several videos of terrible passes he has thrown in camp.

Because the whole starting O-Line was out as well. No reason to put your starting QB out there with all the backups

So……. Does it really matter???? The cowboys will do like they always do. They will beat a couple they are not supposed to and lose to a few teams they should beat. May make the playoffs but exit early. Rinse and repeat.

He shouldn’t even be playing to begin with, so sounds like the Cowboys are doing something smart for once.

It seems like every year Dak is hailed as a sure fire top 10 QB (many even insist hes top 5) and then by week 14 everybody is all "what the heck is wrong with Dak this season???".
Then it repeats every year for the past 4 or 5 seasons

Crazy how teams approach pre season so differently.
Mahomes, who really needs no pre season reps, plays.
Desmond Ridder, who needs as many reps as he can get, does not.

You get through about 8 and are talking dak, Stafford, Carr and cousins? Whether you put him 9 or 11 doesn’t really stress me. Only about half the teams have
He’s better than Goff, Wilson’s a huge question mark today. No one wants Daniel Jones.
There just aren’t that many good qbs at any time and he’s on the trailing edge of that group.

Based on his interception count, Dak looks to be in midseason form.
