I almost think it’s brilliant.
if they went the route of praising her and saying she actually the best basketball player in the world and more impactful that MJ and lebron…. a lot of her fans go away.

The WNBA is too stupid to manufacture HER as some racial villain... Nor would they want to because it turns the public off. Hate watch is over, if she's not there.
Clark has never made any racial comments or had any bad behavior, in fact she takes the abuse, black eyes and all.. But the players sure are happy as hell to complain about her and say if you're a fan of hers, you're racist. Basically being full on racist and LGBTQ by shunning, abusing her and crying to media, she's not one of us. It's women, worse, entitled women.... With agenda....toxic combination....and the media isn't calling their shitty league out for it because nobody can be questioned like a protected class of people.

yeah Clark is absolutely innocent in all of this. She has really handled it well.
I also think not playing in the Olympics let her play the last stretch with fresh legs and she came back absolutely better off.
There are very few narratives surrounding clark that are at least a little true

People watched this year because Clark was a college player unlike we’ve ever seen. Having her in the WNBA is a novelty.
It’s no surprise ratings are down without her there…the product is awful.
In a few years, when the novelty wears off, no one will watch the games Clark is in either.

I am so annoyed that Clark is out that I will continue not watching a single moment of WNBA basketball.
