Seems normal to me. Division series are always like this.

been that way that last few years. So they dont overlap at night and they can get them done in a quick fashion

I bought tickets for the first Dback home playoff game (tonight's game) last week and thought for sure they were going to stick us with the 2pm PT slot. I remember being in school for games 10 years ago so it's been like this.

Because they know they can't compete with reruns of sitcoms for ratings?

I think this is one of the many reasons MLB fails sometimes...potential great playoff games in the middle of the day. Who cares if 2 games are at night and they overlap?

I don't have a problem with them making day games to give each game an somewhat isolated national tv stage..

But, the Best of Five is garbage, MLB is Best of Seven, and WC teams are every bit as good as Div Winners in the modern era, thus you make it a BS platform in risking best teams to early exits.

Then add in the quick turnaround that they make of the first round travel times on the heels of the end of reg season. Unlike the CS or WS which have teams usually getting a breather while some other series goes the distance..it really exaggerates the DS round's danger.

Are you high? This is the second of just this series - the first game was Friday at 3PM EST I think.

Any games starting before 4pm should be considered midday early afternoon aka non peak times. This is why ratings suck.

So again this is the first midday game of the entire postseason.
