If this turns into a daily "Who's ready for baseball?" kind of deal, count me in
Let's go Buccos!
Looking forward to Interleague play when the Tigers visit Pittsburgh. Love PNC, such a nice ball park.

I like that name... especially since the Tigers are in Detroit, yet you are an LSU fan... very nice.

Marlins fan but I like watching the Rangers. New stadium, garbage uniforms and Stanton/Reyes/Josh Johnson

Ironically, I now live about 5 miles down the road from Yankee stadium.

Where you project the Bravos to finish this season in the East? first, second, or third. Will they make playoffs only if there is an additional WC... curious of your feelings going into the season... I live in Braves country
Next to last, thank god the Mets suck worse or the Braves would be looking at dead last

good luck with all that.

I think the rays are about to start looking like the Devil Rays again. They only have Longoria

pirates are 5 years away, at best.
hitting is still pretty bare

Plus the Yanks got Pineda, and I think he's gonna be a BEAST!

I think you just showed your ignorance. Rays are loaded with talent especially pitching which matters most. This could be the best Rays year yet. With that being said, Go Braves! World Series bound baby!

Nice pick up for the Yanks. Now CC doesn't have to make up for the rest of the mediocre pitching you had last year (excluding only Nova, he wasn't too bad).

I'm fairly confident going into this year although most Braves fans won't say the same since the Braves didn't make any moves other than getting rid of Lowe, which was very much needed.
The Marlins didn't do enough and I think the Nats are still a year away so I think the Braves will finish 2nd and grab one of the wildcards
All the Braves need is for Heyward and Prado to bounce back after atrocious years which is highly possible and for the pitching, especially the bullpen, to hold up which it should since it will have much better depth than last year. Also, getting a new hitting coach will hopefully pay some dividends.
I'm just excited for some baseball.

Yankees fan here... :nb4bandwagon:
Rays greater than Sox... pitching is too good for them to not be... they won't be the yankees in the east this year, not with the improved rotation.

I think it is important for Heyward to do better to avoid getting an adverse reaction... most braves fans were on the fence about him last year... they wanted to get mad at his production but wouldn't vocalize it. I think if he has a similar year to last, they may be calling for his head. Pressure is a bitch especially coming off a sophomore drought.
If the Nats had signed Prince I think they would have secured that 2 spot, but like you said, they are about a year away at this point. Hopefully not having Howard will really hurt the Phils and once again, as you stated, Marlins didn't do enough...

I will say that their starting rotation is above average, name anyone else not a starter! Plus, they aren't going to pitch complete game shutouts every outing either! Who's gonna score the runs?
