ive asked this 100x and never got an answer. What would ULL do if ULM started calling themselves Louisiana. they have just as much right to as ULL does accoring to cajun logic

you have gotten an answer, it is: they tried it, and failed. early 2000's they went with louisiana on the helmets and the jerseys with just a simple L on the lids with an indian. they changed to go strictly uLm when they changed to the warhawks.

They didnt fail at anything, there wasnt a big movement to "rebrand" the school at all. Just because a few of their uniforms said Louisiana on it you think you have an out

that doesnt even begin to answer what ULL's reaction would be to them doing it. which is what i asked

I have no dog in the hunt.
I will say though I love the idea of a school being called Louisiana Rajun' Cajuns and Not UL-Louisiana Rajun' Cajuns... maybe one day they play in a bigger conference and that is one more team to root for on a higher level in the college sports world.
