Whole ncaat should be blind draw

Many reasonable people find fault with seedings.
End the committee.
All teams in hat.
Let the early match ups include some big name matches.
English Fa cup in soccer does it.
End subjectivity.
The huge conferences needing to play 18 conference games mitigate against small schools getting any tier 1 games. And Louisville isn't giving Murray a home game. Ever.

I wish they would re-seed after the first weekend.
It seems like literally every time Florida makes the second weekend as a 4-5 seed, they wind up playing a double-digit team in the Sweet Sixteen.

I don't understand the need to fiddle with something that is about to as perfect as sports gets. The tournament doesn't need to be maximized. Where it is now is way better than good enough.

I don't mind the seeding. I just want the automatic bids going to the regular season winners.

Yup. People want to criticize something as high profile as the tournament so they nitpick over fringe teams not getting in, or a team being a 4 instead of a 3. Overall the NCAAT is an incredible event and large scale changes would be a terrible idea IMO

If a team like FGCU makes a run like they did a few years ago, they should have to play the #1 national seed next round, not some lucky-arse 6 seed.
A 8 vs. 12 matchup in the Sweet Sixteen might be a good Cinderalla story, but I don't think it's equitable, especially if the 2 is playing the 3 in the other half of the bracket.

Not apples to apples like you’re implying. The first 6 rounds of that competition are qualifying stages and the premiere league isn’t included. Premiere league teams don’t even enter the competition until the third round- the actual third round not the 3/6 qualifying round. This would be like the top 8 seeds getting an auto bye into the sweet 16, while next 8 get an auto bye into the round of 32

I may be in the minority, but I don't care about crowning the best team. I like a large scale bracket format for the format itself.

I would honestly love reseeding after each pod plays out its three-game mini-tournament each weekend to better reward top teams, but the bracket format is damned compelling.

Exactly. You don't have to reseed the entire tournament. You could just reseed the final 4 teams in each region.
Like I said earlier, if a region has the 2, 3, 9 and 12 left, make the 2 play the 12 and the 3 play the 9. There would be zero inconvenience for anybody. Television doesn't even determine gametimes for the second weekend until the brackets are set.

Wanna know how I know you're full of shite?
The only double-digit seed a 4 or a 5 could face in the S16 is a 16 seed.
