Plus Swisher actually plays in the field as well.

I hate to say it, but at the very least Ortiz's corpse should be moved to the 7 spot asap, I agree that Tex will have better numbers than Tek at the end of the year, but I can't give Ortiz the benefit of the doubt that he'll heat up at this point

Teixeira is almost always a slow starter. Anyone who would really rather Tek is beyond short-sighted.

well, unless you're not a fan of 30HR/100RBI seasons from a gold-glove caliber first baseman.

No it is just a stupid fricking argument. I could sit here and pull TONS of stats on guys that are paid little and outperforming higher paid players. It will all pan out as the season goes along.
