Shaq was the most dominant player I have seen in his prime, however I think Lebron's prime will last longer, so Lebron.

Hard one for me because Shaq is my sports hero.

You sure about the easily part? I think many people have somewhat forgotten what kind of game changer a big time center can be in the NBA.

ETA: The only thing that almost makes this a toss up is Shaq's FT shooting.

You should include some stats in your OP for reference. I know, different positions. But points are points and so on.

In today's NBA I want to say Lebron, but I will still choose shaq because he is an LSU product and

I can make the argument he is more guard than forward. But then again, you could make the argument he's more forward than guard. One thing for sure he is not is a Shaq type center.

Shaq had a 10 year span where he averaged 28.1/11.9/3.0, 2.5 blocks, 0.7 steals, and shot 57.8%; 29.1 PER

That is ridiculous.

Shaq was a more dominant player but I'd go with LeBron. He makes everyone around him better and will likely have longer prime years
